Why does everyone pay 6 euros from 1 year?
Sometimes it was too crowded in Houtebout. We want to
avoid this by letting everyone buy a ticket online.

everyone from 1 year of age pays 6 euros. 

Why are there time slots?
We are open in the morning from 9am to 12:45pm
and in the afternoon from 1:15pm to 5pm.
This way we can regulate the crowds. We allow a maximum number of people per time slot.

Why do you need to buy a ticket online?
That's because then you can already see at home if there is still room. So we can regulate the maximum number of visitors.

Why are tickets not being returned or rescheduled? 
It takes a lot of work because doing it manually and we lose revenue by rescheduling tickets. Unfortunately, the reservation system does not have an automated function. We are looking into working with another system where we can.

Are dogs allowed?: no

Why is Houtebout called houtebout?
The toys are often made of wood(hout). And the wood is often reinforced with bolts(bout). And it alliterates(in Dutch):-)
